PFWCA 2026 Program Roadmap – Visual Overview

Project Components:

  • Breast care services – awareness, clinical exams, and referrals

  • Eye care – vision screenings, prescription glasses, minor eye surgeries

  • General medical outreaches – consultations, treatments, essential medications

Objectives / Aims:

  • Improve access to quality healthcare for women, children, and adolescents

  • Promote early detection and preventive care for vision and breast health

  • Reduce barriers to medical care in underserved communities

Support Needed:

  • Medical personnel: Doctors, nurses, specialists

  • Medical supplies: Medications, eye-care kits, screening tools

  • Outreach logistics: Mobile units, transport, community mobilization

  • Funding: Cover costs of medicines, surgeries, glasses, and outreach operations

Timeline:

  • Q1: First outreach (primary care + eye + breast services)

  • Q3: Mid-year follow-up outreach and eye/glasses distribution

Project Components:

  • Health education campaigns in schools and communities

  • Girl-child rights awareness programs

  • Provision of libraries, books, and school materials for underprivileged children

Objectives / Aims:

  • Increase access to learning and educational resources

  • Promote awareness on health, hygiene, and child rights

  • Support children from low-income backgrounds to remain in school

Support Needed:

  • Educational materials: Books, stationery, library setup

  • Trainers/mentors: For health and rights education

  • Community engagement: Mobilize parents and school leaders

  • Funding: Provide resources, scholarships, and program delivery costs

Timeline:

  • Q2: Back-to-school support and library provision

  • Q4: Year-end health and rights awareness campaigns

Project Components:

  • Skills training: tailoring, hairdressing, baking, crafts, digital literacy

  • Life skills: financial literacy, entrepreneurship, time management, leadership

  • Small business grants and start-up support

Objectives / Aims:

  • Equip women and youth with income-generating skills

  • Promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship

  • Provide mentorship and startup support to sustain livelihoods

Support Needed:

  • Trainers & mentors: Skilled instructors

  • Training materials & equipment

  • Funding: Grants for participants, start-up kits, and program costs

  • Venues & logistics: Safe training spaces and participant support

Timeline:

  • Q2: Skills training program launch

  • Q3: Mid-year workshops + small business grants

  • Borehole installation and clean water provision in selected centers

  • Distribution of food items to support proper nutrition

Objectives / Aims:

  • Improve access to safe drinking water

  • Enhance community health and resilience through proper nutrition

  • Reduce food insecurity among women, children, and adolescents

Support Needed:

  • Borehole equipment & water tanks

  • Food supplies: Grains, vegetables, nutritional items

  • Volunteers & logistics: Distribution and installation support

  • Funding: Borehole installation, food procurement, and operational costs

Timeline:

  • Q1 – Q2: Borehole planning and installation

  • Q3 – Q4: Food distribution and community engagement sessions

  • 🏥 Sponsor healthcare services including medical outreaches, eye care, glasses, and life-changing surgeries

  • 📚 Fund education initiatives such as learning materials, libraries, and scholarships for underserved children

  • 🛠️ Support vocational training through skills development, life-skills workshops, and startup grants

  • 💧 Provide essential community support including borehole installation and food distribution

  • 🌱 Empower women and youth through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement

  • 🤍 Support counselling & chaplaincy services offering emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial care
